Symphony of Light

When shadows grow long, I get restless; and when darkness falls, I drive into the night to greet celestial life. I find myself a private spot where I can be bothered only by coyotes. At first, I feel fear as a city dweller, but I look at the stars and let it all go. I surrender and tune into night landscape - it is my canvas, and flashlights are my brushes. I orchestrate a symphony of light while my cameras silently record my fantasies.
................................

…and when I am back to the city, I look at people and wonder how many of them will never venture into the night to witness how beautiful their moonlit planet is.

Oratory from the Borscht Belt

Was contacted by the BIG NAME magazine. The email came with the “High Priority” and requested to submit my photographs for the article in the next issue. Without consultation, I don’t think I’d want to disclose the name just yet, but I am very tempted.

It was about my work in the Louisbourg. Of course, I was quite flattered. When I asked about compensation (wrong move ;), nobody ever got back to me. And we are talking about like a big name here, big enough to have funds and presumably, staff that has manners.

I giggled about it with my friends today over the coffee during an update on the “artsy” world, which normally is accompanied with healthy dose of sarcasm.

Then I remembered about this wonderful guy and his paramount rant. Enjoy!
